SHADOWS OF OLD TREES
These old maples are bulging with burls, festooned with leaves up and down their trunks that catch any rays of light filtering through the canopy. Light and shadow change minute by minute. In paint, I try to remember the light.

Masterful trees and shadows! A very nice painting with perfect light!
Thanks.
As soon as I get my head above water, I'll post the Peru paintings and journal.
I love this painting, its mysterious, beautiful, inviting, dramatic. pretty much everything I want in a painting.
Thanks!
Karen
